FORM AND COLOR

With the freedom of looking back and observing an extensive professional career, free from carrying the imposed restraints of the tides of prevailing trends, Gabarrón launches a collection of work produced in fiberglass, entitled Form and Color, as a continuation of the series, Lost in Shadows and Rectangular.

Fiberglass in the hands of Gabarrón, embraces a new expressive ability. Modeled, sieved, and given its own texture, it forms an integral part of the final product.

The inner world of the creator connected by the roughness of the material with the spherical world that surrounds it, has the capacity, as only some artists can, to analyze and transmit from its many sides and polyhedral facets. The artist himself tells us: the collection is subtle and suggestive and leads me to think of an intimate continent that keeps my secrets in a creative atmosphere that arouses all of the senses. I dilute scraps of memory and fragments of the present between veils of color and coined gestures that become discrete reasons or lyrical, almost epic reasons for those who can understand.
